The plastic "film" on Cosmos' rub sign was peeling when I took him out of the box. Kinda disapointing. That's all though. Sounds like you might have just been shafted. ?

Sounds like you got the shaft...

I haven't had a problem with the toys coming apart at all, but I have 4 of the originals of these mini bots and there is a definite decrease in plastic quality with the reissues. I think it's odd, because up to this point, I have always felt that the Japanese reissues are of supurb quality.

 

And yes, I dislike the sideways placement of the rubsign on Gears. I think it's just because the original, which I have, did not have place for a rub sign. And the stickers are not off enough for me to complain about, but they aren't quite as centered as I would have put them on myself.
