Preferred the first proto but can live with the second. Colours are kinda cool for the realism but would have been better to follow MP01s example and go for show accuracy. Think they'll lose some sales (not mine admitidly) for this.

sorry, Loki, I tried to think of as many as I could.  Anyway, I didn't post this to reinvent the news thread and start another flame war, but I wanted to get a more accurate representation of what fans though, since it seemed like a lot of people on that thread thought that the haters out numbered the playas.  I wanted to set the record straight a litte.

I was under the impression those who spoke out against the figure were in the minority.

And the question was not whether people would buy this one or not, even I'm buying one to bash into the original and the one's I've dropped will be picked up by someone else.

 

The question is whether or not there was a market for both, and if so, did they make a mistake releasing the second instead of the frst as opposed to "as well as".

 

Of course, there are other questions; such as the seeming switch to selling toys based on their designer (MP Starscream, THS, Kiss) and what that means for the future and so on, but the first is the most relevant.
