quick question about the G2 comic.

Recommended Posts

was the G2 comic was a continuation of the G1 comic?

Quick answer: yes

Cobra wasnb't part of G2 in the UK though.

it also came from a GI Joe crossover... Cobra built G2 Megs

Spot on. :thumb

Hornet: Yes, it was.

This is established by the following:

+ Bludgeon was leading the Decepticons at the beginning of G2 - Bludgeon ascended to Decepticon leadership after Scorponok was killed by Unicron.

+ Megatron crawled out of the crashed remains of the Ark, which was crashed by Ratchet toward the end of G1.

+ Fortress Maximus/Spike are still stationed on Earth - as established toward the end of G1 (Fort Max and Spike were reunited after Ratchet crashed the Ark).

+ The Autobots had returned to Cybertron - which was of course, established in the very last scene of G1.

+ Bludgeon was leading the Decepticons at the beginning of G2

Alas poor Bludgeon, we barely knew ye... :tfevil
