doesn't Megatron only show up near the end of the movie for the final climatic showdown? it doesn't sound like the role will be big enough to warrant casting some one like Welker, who is relatively well known.

I think that was only a rumour from the supposedly leaked script. To do that Megatron would totally cheat the character entirely. :tdown

Humans for the first 45 minutes to an hour noticing wierd Blot happening as well as freak occurences of involving vehicles/military equipment.

Next half hour Holy Blot these things are robots and there blowing Blot up and we need to defend the Americas against this threat.

Last ten minutes. Optimus Prime reveals himself to be a (gasp) robot and leader of the Autobots in time for Megatron to show up in cybertronian jet form and engage in a climatic five minute battle which end in both being completely destroyed, the eart crippled and the matrix(enegon cube) free floating in space for whatever reason towards Cybertron in hope of a new leafer to grasp it and begin again.

Waits now for direct to dvd sequel along the lines of Starshiptroopers which again focus entirely on the humans opposed to more interesting Transformer characters.

:tflaugh Not so much the bugs but the battles fought and stuff in space. A bunch of people confined on a planet renacting John Carpenters The Things was not more interesting than seeing big bad bugs tear people apart. JIMO. Bad referrence I know but it was off the top of my head.

cullen was a great primal voice because, well he was primal. but i havent liked his voice coming from a prime character. its not the same as the original. it just doesnt work for me.

IMHO, it's a Transformers series so long as it features sentient, transforming, alien robots from another planet that are split into two factions which are fighting eachother. everything else is just toppings on the cake.

I think a lot of people are under the mistaken impression that this movie is going to be "G1 Redux" - casting Cullen just reinforces this idea.
