wow. i cant beleive its bothering people to the point where they wont buy it. thats rediculous. are you buying it for the little plastic anime figure? no. its a goddam transformer. bts are awsome. if you hate the lil girl figure so much stick it in a microwave. i think the lil figures are as stupid as the next guy, but like i said, im buying it for the tf. some people just need to get over it.

I missed most of this thread but I'd have to agree. I bought BTA Sunstreaker and didn't give a second thought to the dumb PVC chick that came with it.

oh don't get me wrong, i do plan to get BT Convoy since the paint job is so much better than the Alt and i like the sword weapon, i'm just lamenting over all the BT Convoys that will be bought only so the gachepon collectors can get their fix. it just seems like such a waste :tfsad

on another note, do we know if theres going to be a bt black convoy or not?

considering how the Kiss girl looks nothing like the original Marissa, i'd go so far as to say that the PVC girl was originally designed to be a new character but Takara latter decided to make her Marissa as a fan wank.

EDIT: Ok I will say a little more. I would probably buy BT Prime, but for the packaging and the fact that no one knows for certain whether there is any die-cast, and the insane cost. BBTS is charging $15 more for this than the other BTs that I bought from them. That is ridiculous and absolutely not worth the money in my opinion.

Several places have stated both not and fore diecast.  Noone really knows...

Kiss Hotrod is "said" to have diecast, but until kiss convoy is released, no of us shall know.

Also, if Hot Rod is die-cast, then I might just have to go against my morals and buy the damn KISS figure for waaaayyyy too much. I just can't stand spending that much more for what is a BT w/ a creepy little girl figurine and even creepier pics of girls on the box.

it wasn't making Takara happy... they weren't selling that well

 

hence the PVC girls and the different marketing approach

besides, their market is in japan. not the small number (in comparison) who import it. dont japanese people like those things? not trying to be racist in the slightest, but arent lil figures like those popular over there? if so it would make sense for them to throw a dimes worth of extra plastic to move more units.
