Just found Alt Camshaft!

Holy crap, the same thing with my Mirage. That was why it was too stiff. I noticed the glue marks on the unbroken hinge.

I have every Alt produced thus far except Mirage and Camshaft, and havnt experienced *any* of the QC problems that have mentioned since Alts first came out. The worst I've encountered was Skids ankles and Primes legs being a little looser than I'd like...but they both still stand on their own just fine.

Guess I'm just lucky....we'll see how it goes once I finally locate a Mirage/Camshaft.

for me, both prowl and grimlock needed major work.  grimlock's arms where so loose that he couldn't hold his gun or sword and his legs would fly out from under him, and prowl needed his feet fixed but suffered the same problem with his arms that grimmy did.  my problems don't end at alts either, they expand into cybertron.  Sideways, Downshift, Overhaul, Clocker, Crosswise, and Thunderblast all suffered from loose joints here and there, i couldn't fix the thunderblast with superglue because it's her arms and they don't use ball joints.  so yea.... superglue is my best friend right now.  doesn't make my love for the moulds any less however.

This IMO is not a very encouraging thread.

So far all my alts save a really Blotty stripe job on Sunstreaker and a slightly blotched hood on Silverstreak have been pretty good. Thus far loose limbs haven't really been an issue and parts that fall/come off during treansformation(there are a lot of em)can always be reattached. As long as the mold is of the same quality and fits together properly in both molds i won't have a problem with it.

After the reported Q/C issues on both Rico, and Rolly I can't help but feel a bit skeptical about upcoming releases. Definitely want to get a Prime, Mirage, and Camshaft sometime soon but reading this I don't know if it's even worth it anymore. Hasbro really needs to start getting it together with there Q/C reguarding alts. A lot of collectors I imagine are getting nervous as to what there getting for there hard earned dollars.

I let Sunstreaker slip by since he's in bot mold for the most part but anymore if i buy another $35 Alt with severe Q/C issues I'm writing a letter demanding they intensify Q/C or expect to lose customers. I mean they want to sell these things right, and nobody IMO wants to recieve any less than what they payed for and for 35 CND the quality of said toy better be damn good.

This topic is making me worry.

I still have not found Prime, Mirage, or Cammy.
