to be Minibots? They're small. Until the movie came out, they were the Decepticon answer to minibots. I know they came two in a pack and Minibots came one but to me, the cassettes were more advanced and they had Weapons. How do you look at it. Were Rumble, Ravage and gang the equivalent to Bumblebee, Brawn and crew?

I figured the cassettes were lower than the minibots.

Never thought about it, myself... Then again, I had no idea what the hell a minibot was until 2004.

No. They're their own sub-group. Cos otherwise the Autobot cassettes would count as minicars too. :P

When they were released, a twin cassette pack was the same price as two minibots, give or take a few pence, so pricing says initially yes.

As far as weapons go, at least one minibot had a gun (Outback) so I don't think that's something that says not minibot.

Why all these anal-retentive distinctions? It's not like the minibots were ever identified as a sub-group in the cartoon. They never even had a name for all of Soundwave's little dudes.

I think they were equal to the Minibots. :Dc

Cassetticons

They should be grouped with the egg beasts ;)
