well good for all the impatient people to screw the patient out of their NP  lol

seriously...I called by the time I got one of the"nice" reps they were no longer taking order.

It does say in the FAQ that you can order from the on-line shop by phone.

My guess is they'll probably honor the phone orders.  (EDIT:  Beaten to the punch by shockwave2005)

Considering the wide release of Nem Prime in Asia I'm guessing that there was a pretty big run of them produced.  (That Astrotrain is still in stock and he was supposed to be produced in super low numbers likely means that NP will be available on the website for a least little while.)  That the 501st Trooper sold out probably isn't a valid comparison - there are probably 100x more SW collectors/scalpers/speculators/goobers that had to get that guy.

just spoke to Mary, and she said that if the item is (or gets) in stock that the on phone order will be honored.

You have to be off your nut to think that the handful of people wanting these things are enough to crash their server. The GI Joe fans asked the same thing the night before DTC went live, and the sales amounted to a trickle.

It's sad when I can score a handgun and some crack easier than a friggin' Transformer.

Quoted for maximum truthness!!! :tflaugh  :thumb

so if the were taking phone orders why did they stop? I am half tempted to try a 5th time.

grr, the phone orders will be honored, I didn't even get a chance to finish mine up.

I'm sure it was them SW doods that caused the problem.

Hasbro's just giving us the virtual version of the standard Alternator hunting experience:

-Someone sees it once in Hong Kong.

-Everyone starts hunting like mad.

-It actually arrives weeks later.

-It then disappears within hours of arriving unless it really, really sucks.
