I j ust say that because.. to this day.. to this MOMENT, I can't figure out why the heck Hasbro's doing this...

 

I mean.. it's not that the interest in Alternators has waned. It's that all the stores are stuck with friggan shelfwarmers of 3 year old molds and refuse to order new ones. I would bend over backwards (and apparently I am right now) to get Mirage, OP, and NP... And I'm sure I'm not the only one.

 

Oh well. Maybe Hasbro will learn better by next year.

When I asked about shipping, she said it was $3.95 plus .80 per pound the item weighs. I figure $5 should do it. No worries

I get the feeling that if NP were put on store shelves instead of the Skids's that have been there since december, Alts would be selling fairly briskly. :thumb

Just from a business perspective, I am wondering why Hasbro hasn't started making at least 1 wave of a new Alternators made entirely of the new fig.. IE start by shipping boxes of 4 OP's, Mirage's, and so on.. and then after a few shipments like that, then switch to the assortments. That way, the stock can be better controlled (IE when it looks like shelfwarmers are starting to pile up, -THEN- you switch to the assortments).

Because that would be too logical for them.  They'd rather have 10 cybertron metrplexes and mudflaps on the shelf.
