That's right. Wasn't that one of the many reasons they didn't release Brave Max in the US? That the box would be too large?

 

I believe they cited safety issues with the figure itself. There were just too many parts that could break off and cause harm to little kids and it would cost too much to modify. Personally I think that was just an excuse because they didn't want to deal with it. I don't get why Hasbro can't just smarten up and increase their age recommendation to cover their ass if safety is an issue. That's the biggest reason why their reissues seemed like a rip off, you could import a better version at roughly the same price, kids don't care about collectibles!

And what is that drop test about? Just about all the TFs I own would explode if they were dropped.
