anybody ever watch ninja turtles when it comes to the 2000 series?

 

caught a rerun of the show it was the episode where hun and his crew skyjack one of those cargo jets carrying that newgen technology, i think that's what they called it.

 

anyways what raised my interest as a transfan was the fact that the big rigs hun and his crew were using  looked like it was a decent mix between primes classic vehicle mode and ginrai's vehicle mode from supergod masterforce. while at the same time it had a rather striking resemblance to generation 1 optimus prime when it comes to his vehicle mode being a big rig back in the day.

 

that got me thinking, could  that  type of model rig work for him when it comes to how he will look for the livie action movie.

 

if anything it would look more modernday when it comes to it's streamliuned design whil at the same time it would still have that difinitive classic prime look going for him in vehicle mode

European trucks are mostly cab-over-engine due to the small roads, but you can still find modern COEs in North America.

Why not make Prime transform into a car like they've done in Machine Wars?

(O_o) Dude... Prime was a truck in Machine Wars. MW Prime was a repainted/retooled Thunderclash. He was only ever a sports car when he was a G2 Gobot.

FTR both Machine Warz Prime, and G2 Thunderclash absolutely rock. :thumb 

Thunderclash moreso than MW Prime. Thunderclash's multi-missile launcher gimmick was removed from the MW Prime mould, which severely reduces its play value.
