Pick from the above list. And discuss your POV on the matter!

I myself own 1 Graded toy, and will buy more in the future. I am still out to lunch on deciding whether I would hold a higher preference to a graded toy than a boxed/sealed toy.

a)I can't afford Graded toys

b)I do not own one but want many someday

c)I don't like Graded toys

^ Them 3.

a)I can't afford them. Well, I could, but I'd rather spend my money on other, cheaper TF's.

b)If I had the money (ie: filthy stinkin' rich) I'd buy them...

c)...and free them from their prisons!

Even if I was stinking rich, I wouldn't buy them. Well, maybe I'd buy a few... like Shockwave, Soundwave, Megatron, Prime and Ironhide, but I'd do it only so that I could video me smashing those goddamn plexi-containers and opening up the boxes with a big, fat, Blot-eating grin on my face, then I'd post the video on youtube for all to see.

Seriously, the notion MISB, sealed and graded toys eludes me. I'm strongly planted in "they're toys-- play with them" camp, and it actually pains me to keep seeing so many great toys locked away in clear vaults.

The notion that they're somehow a toy is worth more because some SIMPCOMI.gif grades it and deems it worthy of a high score is stupid. If anything, the act further seperates you from the greatness of the toy and lessens the experience.

It's like being at the Louvre, where you're sectioned off from the paintings by ropes and barriers, sometimes plexiglass!, an experience which only serves to alienated the consumer.

You're not experiencing the essence of the toy, which is to *transform*, so you might as well put a picture of the toy in plexiglass and call it worthy.

/end rant

Voted "may want some day". I'm not going to buy them, though. That is stupid. But I may have some figures graded.

If they were consistent, i'd begrudgingly accept it.

They aren't however.

"Look  he has no clothes!!! "

I have no interest in AFA grading.  I am a fan of TFs, not a "collector".  I buy the TFs I think look cool or have nostalgia value, not because oooooohhh it is so minty and worth a lot.  To know that I would have to get out the sledge if I ever wanted to take out one of my toys to TF or just hold it would keep me up at night.

I don't like graded toys.  AFA is like guns.  It's only as good as the people using it.  Some people are good, but mostly AFA is just an excuse to sell toys at an obscene price.

I don't keep things mib, so graded stuff is useless to me.

No graded stuff for me.

I can understand a graded statue, or PVC, or the like.  I keep a couple of anime girl PVCs MISB, because they'd be doing nothing different than if they were out of the box: just standing there.  TFs are a different story.  I find that graded TFs destroy what really makes  TFs special: the fact that it's supposed to TRANSFORM!  :)

I don't like graded toys, because whatever I get is gonna come out of the package anyways.  As long as the figure is mint and the box is displayable, I don't care.
