I bought mine from Toys R Us.

I picked him up, with a bunch of other alts from TOM.  I really have no love for that figure, but I am a Alt semi completist.  He never did hit stores here in Niagara...or Canada, think for that matter.

why so much?, i know bbts ( which is out of stock :tdown ) is selling him for $75

Because he was shipped in one wave, one per case.

 

I got mine from TOM as well.  Great guy too, charged me retail.  I never saw one locally, although another collector I met in TRU said he saw one at target once, but didn't get him.

Bouoght one a LONG time ago from TRU, and still have him in the shelf. :)

 

Passed on another I saw a week later, and never saw them since. 

Got him in a lot of 4 Alts on eBay back in Oct/Nov 2005 (Wheeljack, Shockwave, Swerve, Decepticharge) for $130US after shipping or so...

 

But then again, I live in Canada, and we never good stuff like that in stores here anyways.  :tdown

I got him x5, gave some away, sold some others for $60 + s/h on ebay.  I have 2 I kept for myself.  You never know, they may release him again like tracks.

Got him at TRU, there were abut 4-5 on the shelf at any given time for a while there.  I figured I'd leave them there for other TFans to buy.

 

Of course, not everyone thinks that way. :P

I have never seen a Swerve (not that I would buy it, me likey the BTs), nor have I ever seen a Decepticharge. Kind of interesting how they made one of the less popular figures incredibly rare. I wonder how many people picked him up just b/c of that.
