Binaltech inserts

Recommended Posts

I didn't see this covered before and the search yielded no results.

In each Binaltech box, there are 2 inserts:

1-One resembles a post card

2-The other is smaller and has a unique 9-character alphanumeric code printed on it with a linky to  www.takarafans.com.

Does anybody know what purpose they serve?

I just want to know before I discard them.  Thank you.

All Takara TFs came with a self-addressed survey feedback card. Last year they abandoned this card in favour of an online version, which you access with the alphanumeric code provided with the toy. Depending on which toy you bought, the code will access a different series of relevant questions.

So for example, if you bought a reissue, the survey will ask you what other TFs you would like to see reissued - if you got a BT, they'll ask you what other TF characters you'd like to see realised as a BT, as well as what kind of vehicles you'd like to see introduced in the BT line, etc etc etc.

This is something that Japanese toy companies always do.

Can the online one be filled out in english?

thanks Goki. I suppose the same applies for inserts in my Tamiya 1:24 scale model car kits.

I tried the website, but I have no clue how to read kanji characters... so it is a useless paper off to be recycled.

Although all the survey cards would be out of date now, here are instructions on how to fill them out. As for the web site, see here.

Hoo boy. I wish Hasbro would do this.
