I really dispise you Prime-haters.  He's the epitome of TFs in the eyes of just about everyone.  He represents the greatest good possible while Megatron is his polar opposite.  That's why we will never be rid of Prime and Megatron.  Understand this and live with it.

First of all, Optimus Prime isn't God, much less perfect, so don't worship him like he was the Second Coming. Nowhere does it say that Optimus Prime "represents the greatest good possible while Megatron is his polar opposite. " Build a church around him, why don't you, yeesh.

 

And second, TF:Victory was loved in Japan because unlike Rodimus or Fortress Maximus, he was a good leader and had the series been shown outside of Asia, I am more than sure he would had been way more popular than Optimus Prime.

 

And that's the point I was trying to make. If you have Megatron and Optimus Prime in EVERY series, it makes the whole Transformers franchise stale. Case in point - would you want to eat French Fries all your life? Sure, it might be good for some people, but have it every time you'll get sick of it. I think it would be much better if we have a new Autobot leader instead of Optimus Prime all the time. For that matter, the Decepticons need a new emperor. I would totally buy a TF line where Deszaras is the Decepticon leader and Victory Saber is the Autobot leader, no debates about it.

Yea, that's proboly the reason I liked victory series. Even having Jetfire and(dare I say it) Thundercracker(or Starscream) as the comanders and Optimus and Megatron being(dare I say it again) second in commands wouldn't be bad at all!

preach my brother..you cant  have transformers without prime ( PERIOD), thats like having voltron without the black lion...case in point VICTORY yes they say wing saber was cool but did it really get the credit it could of had if their was a prime their?
