not trying to contradict you T.Man, but if you guys look at the vehicle shots, there are 2 window braces, the second is where the canopy opens up.

I don't think they need to.  When Dirge was reissued, they drew his box art without the cone on his head.

Looks great so far, although if I was going to nitpick, I'd say he's a bit shorter(as compared to MP Prime) than I was hoping for but I know as soon as I see him, I wont be able to not love him and his feet look a little, small, maybe add some width or something.  Anyone else notice how he's coming out right about the same time as Botcon?  I wonder if any of the dealers there will have any on hand.
