can I see a pic of it?I'm using every fig made(even repaints and such) that has the name grimlock so I know how many I'm going to buy.

Do you also want to know international or just domestic releases?

Classic Grimlock was just the robot from Pretender Grimlock iirc.

Yep. It was the same thing, sans shell.

Of course, you could add MyClone Grimlock and Heroes of Cybertron Grimlock. I'm sure there are more like that too.

I'm focusing mainly on transforming grimlock's, and I'm guessing that classic grimlock and pretender grimlocks are the same thing? and on the pretender grimlock I'm including everything including the shell thing...

I won't be able to help this time with a list. I packed my checklist binder.  :redface

That's fine.

No no, Classic Grimlock was a reissue of the original Grimlock. Like all reissues, he has slight variation in the mould - re: copyright stamp. Otherwise the toy is identical to the original 1985 Grimlock.

The shell-less Classic Pretender Grimlock I believe is the Kmart Legends Grimlock (never sold in Australia).

Classic Grimlock, like all the Classic reissues, came in boxes like these:
