well, transformers practically worship energon as it is. energon is like the transformers' equivilent of Dune Spice and is certainly a lot more usful than the Matrix.

the helicopter dude sounds a lot like Sound Wave no matter how you slice it.

and the deck on the Airforce 1 that turns into Midget dude -could easily be - Frenzy - and the next conclusion is - if someone were to hear like part of a scene or an idea - a misunderstood Frenzy attack could generate the rumor that Deceps dont speak but only SCREEEEEECH.

They dropped mass shifting and didn't tie themselves to G1 to avoid lameness and now there's this huge power source with a lame '80's name.

 

Whether it matters or not, it sucks.

In my personal opinion the less I know the better off I am.

 

From what I do know unfortunately I'd go as far as to say the script needs either a serious overhaul or a rewrite from scratch altogether. A lot of what's being rumoured and tossed around is in my opinion pretty Powerglideing stupid. If anyhing this Kennywave/Soundbyte character needs to seriously go. This early into making the film and I'm already getting a JarJar vibe from the concept and that in itself gives me chills.

 

Hopefully Bay is smart enough despite what he knows/doesn't know about Transformers to at least figure out what will/will not work with fans/no fans. Kennywave strikes me as a concept that won't work with any audience. As for the name game. I was skeptical at first but as many including myself have concluded this is not G1 so it really doesn't matter who is named what. Bring on Tank Devastator. :clap / :redface

Yes, yes but this is following the comics more if I'm not mistaken.  Still, it has all the knowledge of leaders past.  That is not "Enegon".

 

As I said, I'd rather see them use "Matrix Annex" than "Energon Cube".  Or they should come up with a DIFFERENT name.  "Energon Cube" is what they use to gather Energon, I do not see why they need to use that for the Matrix.  It's completely stupid.

 

But it's my opinion.  Of course, this script review could be BS all together.  Still, I feel that I can Starscream about something every once in a while too.
