Full Movie Script Review Online

some nice ideas though if it does come off like this, from the sounds of it vortex 'releases' scorponok to track the rest of the soldiers, sounds like a neat idea to me, and gets round the fact that whilst the rest of the transformers have vehicular alt modes a scorpion isnt quite as out of place. and its not really a surprise if the name of the matrix is changed is it ? no need to confuse newcomers by revolving the film around the search for a term so commonly used in the last few years ? major blockbuster trilogy of the same name would make it kind of awkward.

it actually makes sense that the decepticons would only speak cybertronian, they'd have no want or need to learn (program themselves with)  english.  Unlike the autobots who'd see it as thier duty to speak it while on earth

Oh, I'm sure that IS the rationale. It's perfectly logical.

That doesn't mean it doesn't suck so hard though.

The Decepticons ARE CHARACTERS not machines.

Stripping them of all personality and ability to express themselves because it's "logical" is utterly depressing.

So far, all the leaks have suggested no.

That, appearances aside, many Transformers have as much indivduality as the Alien ships from Independence Day, or the Tripods from WotW.

Of course, there's no saying the rumours are true, but they reference the same or at least a similar script to the one mentioned here.

the decepticon dialogue can be written at any time if they only are interacting with themselves... since their dialogue will have no baring on the movie (unless they are talking with autobots) it doesn't need to be in the script at this point.  Of course all of this is conjecture.

It's not that people say they aren't given dialogue, more that they have no need for dialogue.

Many seem to appear, cause chaos like good little special effects and then dissappear, leaving only satiated visual fanwankery in their wake, a little like those generic extra Decepticons we used to see in the G1 show they want to distance themselves from so much.

"fanwankery" :tflaugh

Didn't they say at some point that soundwave won't be in the "first movie"  I'll reserve all my judgement till see some solid evidence, although I don't like what I hear about most of this stuff.

How could Bay think about Welker voicing Megatron if he doesn't speak English?

How could Bay think about Welker voicing Megatron if he doesn't speak English?

The main characters do in this script, the rest are just effects without voice or personality.

As far as Soundwave's supposed involvement it goes like this:

1. "Fake" Script has a non talking Decepticon helicopter called Grimlock.

2. They change his name, rumours of Soundwave as helicopter surface - fans Starscream.

3. Don mentions Vortex in relation to movie and fans assume Soundwave has been dropped.

4. Rumours of kennywave surface; a small music device that transforms without mass shifting and becomes so thin he gets his head knocked off by Mikeala more than once - fans Starscream.

5. Don is at a convention and says something along the line of Soundwave maybe not being in the movie because of probnlems realting to his alt mode handling.

Rumours of kennywave being called Soundbyte begin.
