The End Cap Closing Down

Recommended Posts

Now that I got your attention, hee hee, We are not closing the End Cap. However, we didn't set up Tfieds.com for nothing and we really really want you to use it. We do have a fair number of problems with postings in The End Cap and this is one way we want to deal with it.

Please start using Tfieds.com to list your items here in the EndCap. Tfieds hosts your images for free and puts you in touch with buyers from all over the world, not just TFans members. If you don't want to list things one at a time, post one classified AD with all your stuff listed. We have created a handy TAG that lets you post all your items here in two seconds.  See my listings in this post below and read how to set it up here:

Are you sick of paying all those fees to eBay like I am? I have sold nearly 20 items on Tfieds.com so far without one cent going to a eBay in sellers fees. This is OUR chance to create a place for everyone to buy, sell and trade their toys without all the eBay  expense. So please, help us help you sell your stuff. List on Tfieds.com a site that we are actively promoting on many sites online line. What have you got to loose?

Check it out here: http://tfieds.com

Thanks!

Ive had better success on the boards than on Tfields. I think its eaiser to browse through posts and look through lists than just searching... like me, I like to see what lists people post, and usually find something I hadnt thought of... its kinda like window shopping.

I have used Tfields too, but I sold more using the boards.

aye, i kinda like the boards, you can look at posts and see what that person is like, insted of just seeing an item with a price on it.

No offense OmegaX80, but the stuff you listed are items that I dont see attracting many buyers.

It is a FACT, 1 in 10 items listing on Tfieds.com sells. I know this just by the number  of items marked SOLD on Tfieds. We all know The End Cap is not even close to that good.

I personally have sold A LOT more stuff on Tfieds. Here in the End Cap 9/10 PMs I get are from someone who never buys anything or wants to trade for crap. I have to post and bump and repost my list when things change, there are no images with listings or detailed information on most toys. I also dont like coming back to TFans every day to check for PMs. You also cant search for things. Tfieds lets people contact me by email and I know right away when someone is interested. For me, The End Cap is a messy time consuming way to sell my stuff and every thing is in limbo.

FWIW, The Tfieds site is new, just one month old. Your participation will help things greatly. Give it a chance and pitch in to the effort instead of shooting it down. There is a lot of policing that has to go on here on The End Cap, and this one way we're trying cut it down. Use both and the End Cap will live on.  :thumb

Alright I might as well give it a shot.

I don't particularly like being told where I have to post thing for sale when i'm a member on this board... but I guess I have no choice.

I agree with the above, I like looking at lists that have been updated since i was last one and seeing something and thinking "ah yea, i've been looking for that and forgot"... oh well.

another thing is it's going to take a long time to list lots of stuff on tfieds.com as opposed to just making a list... that really sux.

I'll give it a shot, but I wish I could do a massive upload the way I do normally.

QUESTION: Will all the positive feedbacks and negatives be added to the new site TFieds.com?

SUGGESTION: If not how about at least adding a number in "(#here)" so we know how many positive transactions a user has? Please consider, b/c I've sold plenty since TFans started, but my feedback is spreadout though consistently positive. THanks for listening.  :thumb

I took a break from posting things because I fear of becoming the "bad example" by posting KOs. Let me know if this is bad for me to post KOs or not before I resume posting stuff on there.

Another situation I've encountered:

SUGGESTION: We need more space to enter information for the terms, shipping and payment sections ALL need more room, so you add more information. Kindly implement changes. Thanks!

Also is there anyway to use html? If not that's fine but the top issue is important. THanks for listening!

I'd say KO's are just fine as long as you tell everyone up front that they are KO's...  No broken rules there.
