question: whats the difference btw the classics and neo optimus?

And furthermore a trailer would have to fit other tf cars of the same line, which would make for a pricy trailer. I know they made a MP Prime trailer somewhere, but that is just huge. But if these new primes are smaller, i would go for it.

This wont be the trend. Cant have all those sweet ass Anime supermodes

i've been under the impression that they're the same thing....

if it did come with trailer i'd find a way to display it, even if i had to have prime stand on it

If Prime never had a trailer again...I wouldn't mind.

to me, it's not so much that prime doesn't have a trailer, it just bugs me that it's a semi without a trailer, just like 20th... i unno it just bugs me, however, regardless of rather it comes with a trailer or not i'll buy it.

The real name for the line isn't known yet, so people just refer to it as "NeoG1" or "TF Classics" interchangeably.

I am the only one who has seen an semi without a trailer before? I see a ton of them with no trailer various times.

Over The Top?

Maximum Overdrive?

My theory aside I gusee the main thing I was curious about when I started this thread was how many of you would/wouldn't mind Prime not having a trailler.

Personally I just don't see a point in it anymore. Not saying the base concept was totally wasted some Primes had awsome base modes. G1 for being classic, God Ginrai for being the first super mode and Machinewars for having the most inovative. Aside from those Armada/Energon absolutely wasted it and GF/Cybertron was really just a retread of what was done earlier in Rid.

I do agree with all, it's probably not a trend that will follow past the next two/three releases of Prime. If it does however I have no problem whatsoever with it. I personally would rather have a lower end priced voyager class Prime on it's own with decent design/articulation going into the overall cost opposed to a leader class Prime which is basically a voyager class figure with an added gimick riddled backpack/base that conveniently folds up into a trailer. Also I personally believe that if Hasbro would focus on the overall design/asthetics opposed to bells/wistles they could make much better transformers. In other words quality over quantity. :thumb

I have high hopes for the upcoming Neo Gen1 Prime. As a voyager class mainline toy here's really hoping they get it right.
