does anyone know if the stasis pods in BW, lived before their awakening?

I personally have a slight feeling that a select few did have TFs had their sparks and personalities transferred to protoforms for easy storage and not taking as much space as they would if they were all activated.

 

But then again, there's proof that says otherwise.

honestly I never got the whole stasis pod thing. The four original crew members of the Axalon weren't in stasis pods and they were able to reformat themselves w/ beast modes just fine.

yes, that is what i mean. i tend to believe tigatron had a life on cybertron before BW, but inferno didn't. i'm not to sure about all of them.

i mean, if they can do it with X/rampage, there could be others.

 

in the gathering comic, the protoforms seem to be reawakened and not created on earth...

i really doubt there was any bringing those two back to the fold.

sure, but they were converted into preds. and eventually, it was megatron who killed them.

Well, it's 'cus the Maximals knew their weapons were ineffective.  Everytime they blew someone apart they knew they'd get fixed and come back for more.  I don't think there was a single moment in the entire series that the Maximals killed a foe with a gun...

I doubt that sparks could be "transferred" that easily at all. Most trandformers IMO reform their CURRENT bodies into a different shape, thus having one body most of their lives, even if it changes into a protoform or a new form.

 

It's called nanotechnology, my friends. You'd be supprised at what alien technology is capable of.
