I would really agree with that, but Dark Awakening continues to PWN me, crappy animation and all. It's the best Rodimus episode ever, and Prime's death is a lot like TM2 Dinobot's at the end of BW.... in that they're both not really who they were, and yet they still manage to be heroic enough to save the day. That kicks ass.

 

And when I saw that episode for the first time I was like "oh my f*cking god"

:bizz  Dark Awakening and The Burden Hardest to Bear are the jewels of Season 3, even tho they had some of the crappiest animation of the entire season.

I remember "Burden" having better, though sloppy, animation...... but I haven't seen that one since the olden says, since I stopped buying G1 DVDs after getting the first of Season 3 :puke

I think G1 season 1 and TF:TM would be at home in any old school TF fan's house. Those are the most classic bits of the series IMO.
