The 2 'Top Dogs' in the Autobot Ranks Brothers?  TBH i luv that idea. I agree that his trailer is a different enity. Just besause we dont see Magnus as just his trailer doesent mean he he doesent has that ability. but i want to see a toy like its G1 counterpart (That has Battle Armour)

BUT

in the movie it does refer to magnus as an 'old friend' not a brother :(

yeah i always heard he was that other friend of orion paxes....bad memory serving me great atm....but i also heard that that that could be jet-fire.....and since ive never read any of the comics i dunno....but i kinda like the idea of them being brothers...and since i do thats what im going with, tho i never thought of it before....way better than the clone idea i heard before.....but that wouldnt surprise me either thinking of how many times we went through that in BW

u mean dion. Well i heard he was either Ironhide or Magnus. Dnt think he was Skyfire tho. Dion was more or less the same size as prime and looked like kup

yeah thats him name slipped my mind and went blank....ive heard ironhide and kup also.....so i dunno....nor from what i have heard is there anyway to verify because it was never verified......and most of this is stuff i picked up off of here

Toywise he is sort of right. Ultra Magnus is based on Powered Convoy - who was based on Battle Convoy, which is the Diaclone vehicle that Optimus Prime was based off.

Certainly, but as far as the character is concerned, Ultra Magnus is what he is in the cartoon and Marvel comic.  To me, there is no Magnus who then becomes Ultra Magnus. He is only Ultra Magnus.

I don't care what the Dreamwave comic said.  I don't care what Diaclone or Takara said.  Ultra Magnus is what we know from the movie, the cartoon series, and the Marvel comics. That is all.  He is not a Prime clone covered in battle armor.

Sorry, but just because you don't like it doesn't mean it doesn't count. The DW comics were offically-licensed, not internet fan-fics. UM is a white version of Prime in armour, just like the toy.

That's fine for you. However, you can't just say the "I only like the Marvel comics and G1 cartoon and therefore nothing that came aftwards counts."

Because it does.

We all saw UM in white-prime-clone mode in the DW comics and the toy. YOU may not like it, but that's neither here nor there.

meh imo magnus is an albino repaint of prime
