this was mentioned in RID but I dont think it was anywhere esle :/

RID Prime and Magnus are brothers...and I think it was mentioned in DW comics, but its not true of any other continuity

Well...it should be true. And stuff. It's in the club comics too.

Yes, in Car Robot/RiD, Fire Convoy and Ultra Magnus are brothers. Remember that CR is an autonomous continuity separate from any other.

In Dreamwave's comics they were gonna get around to telling us there connection but.....

iirc the cartoon explained it when they said that Vector Sigma created them from the same spark - i.e.: one Spark spliced into two (kinda like twins) - only Fire Convoy was constructed first, so he's the "older" brother. I suppose the Car Robo bros must've been made the same way too

^ I was talking about G1 Mags and Prime. Dreamwave was alluding to a connection between them.

meh

I like RiD and everything (as an alternate universe continuity) but "Magnus" is lame IMO. Just because we all played "White Prime" with our Ultra Magnus toys when we were kids doesn't mean it'd make a cool retcon.

:pfx

Retcons shouldn't happen just because Hasbro wanted to save some money twenty years ago.

well, I dont like it when the do repaints either, but RID Magnus was cool because hee wasnt a repaint :)

retcon?

I think the whole Twin spark thing is cool though :), but  Magnus will never replace Prime :)
