Fan2Fan MP starscream updates

Ok, so Bumblebee is another very good one. Although I think that making him a BT would be good enough.

I just mainly wanted to add something that I read on the tfw2005 boards. I wonder if MP SS will be able to hold the MP Prime Megatron gun. That would be awesome and something fairly easy to achieve.

I wonder if he'll be able to hold Prime's regular gun. :tflaugh

roflmfao

hopefully he'll be able to hold megs, if so my prime's going to have to be reposed, maybe i can use the axe this time around.

not to mention the fact that unlike Prime and Screamer, Bumblebee never recieved a modern incarnation in the AEC Universe. unless you count Minicon Sparkplug but Hasbro stated that the similarites were unintentional.

So I have just decided to import my first TF ever after seeing these pictures. What would be the best site to do it on?

that's crazy talk

BTW I have to agree with unicron's blues... as much as I hate to say it, Beast Wars was never a part of pop culture the way Transformers (aka G1) was. It's just a reality.

Not to mention that as such, I think that MP versions of BW figures would have less widespread appeal.

all I really want is a statue of BM Primal..... is that so wrong? *snif*

They're coming out with a Primal Bust.....would that make you happy?

Beast Ma-cheens Primal, not BW :thumb

My bad. You did make me go through work to find out who you where talking to so...

BM was so Hated. I'm shocked AAOP was released. I'm happy he was. I just never know how to pose his ass collar

Man, this is going to a marvellous figure. Even if not everything we see on these designs gets incorporated, this figure's going to be a must-have.

I'm loving everything I see about this. Highly detailed, looking good in both modes (something Prime/Magnus failed at somewhat). I really hope that Hasbro will also release this mold (and all the repaints), because then I'm going to get both: Taktom for the robot, Hasbro for the alt.

Does anyone have the design sketches of Masterpiece Prime? It would be interesting to compare them to what was actually produced.... then we may get an idea of what MP Starscream may or may not include!? Just a thought :)

I don't ever recall seeing production sketches for Prime.  The first news we got of him was at one of those Japanese hobby shows (also where we first got wind of Alternators, with the debut of a finished BT-01 Smokescreen), where they skipped right to the resin proto.

Unless you're counting those preliminary sketches by Don Figueroa, where, being un-informed of the scope of the project, simply designed a "perfect transformation" version of the original toy, with modern styling and articulation.

And when it comes to Transformers, I'm pretty sure Hasbro has their hands in large projects like these.  Takara's been known to flounder a bit when it comes to large-scale projects like this.
