Fan2Fan MP starscream updates

Well, considering they should be pretty big already it's hard to imagine anyone choking on them.  I'm more worried that they may want to rubberize his sharp edges (wingtips, nosecone, etc).

Or "battle damage", which is basically an excuse for crappy paint application.

Disagrees. The burnt patches on Hasbro's Prime add more character to the toy than detract. The damage on E Starscream though is debatable.

Again, I really hope Hasbro pushes for a Stateside release.

Battle damage was the number one reason why I went with the non-Hasbro MP.

He looks 10x better without it IMO.

i kinda like the battle damage on anni prime.

as for hasbro ss...  the mp ss is only $99, prime debuted @ what, $69?  thats only 30 extra bucks.  your getting it that much earlier, and i'm sure the hasbro version won't have an ejector seat and the missles will probably end up having their firing power decreased with weaker springs.  i also think those switchable face plates will be a problem with us laws, at least if they're loose.  then, while hasbro would be totaly retarded not to release him, he hasn't been confirmed from hasbro, and i realy don't see any way other than an alternator that they could market him... i'm gonna go with the safe bet and blow every single cent i get for my bday on mp ss.

Erm, $69 would have been the US release price.  $99 would have been the price that you would have imported Prime at, too.

I'm not sure where you got the ejector seat idea from, and there's no precedent for the weaker spring thing, either.

Since when?  If they provide the proper warning labels and age recommendations, there's no problem at all.  Additionally, the impression I get from the report is that the faces aren't separate pieces, but are swapped using some sort of internal mechanism (I assume that the face is actually double-sided, and the helmet fits over it to conceal one of the faces)

They could release him as a stand-alone, just like 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime.  No sense trying to shoehorn him into another line.

Haven't heard about the ejector seat either but didn't some of the G1 reissues have their firing missiles weakened so they wouldn't shoot as far as the originals? I remember reading that somewhere...

Lucky Draw Gold Masterpeice Starscream - Priceless.

I agree with you, I've either read or heard about that spring issue with the US before.

the battle damage did bother me, but not nearly as much as the shorter stacks. that alone was reason enough. but either way i preordered my mp prime before i even knew what hasbro was going to do to him so it really didnt make a difference. like i will with mp ss.

Certainly for the North American market.  ('Safety' i assume)

Japan, i don't think so(?)

Diaclone launchers WERE pretty powerful.
