The green MS paint is an updated sleeper window to foot hinge. I decided to use the stacks rather than hydralics so nothing gets removed during transform. It will be on the outside but coloured to match so it won't be too noticable.

 

 

Once all this Blot is bolted and glued, the head box thingy will slide clear of the sleeper and pivot. The sleeper itself also uses the same mecanism keeping it all in one unit.

 

 

Here's a clean pic of the head box. It's got slides and crap all over the place.

 

 

 

Here's the attachment to the back. You can see the underside of the headbox has a secondary plate that allows it to rotates and move back and forth.

Comparison pic. Although I plan to paint the lower legs grey like the toy just to break it it a bit.

Just thinking about the amount of work that is going into this gives me a headache.  Please keep us updated, this looks like is going to be awesome!
