Doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the mold's coolness...

Thigh knees don't look cool. Too many Alts have them...

 

And are those supposed to be guns? I can barely see them. Again, guns WAY too small. I don't know why the weapons have to attach to the car in car mode. I would gladly get rid of that just to have larger weapons.

 

And...talk about 'junk in the trunk'! This Alt has booty! lmao

 

Other than those three things, this looks like an awesome Alt. The colors are great.

 

Oh, yeah...and I would've loved to have seen a shoulder rocket launcher included....but yeah....oh, well..

I really like Mirage. Looks no better/worse then any other first time alt mold. One observation/minor complaint though. Why is he sudenly painted so dark. I personally liked the colour he was in the original pics.  :tdown Might be the lighting but he almost looks a shade of black more so then blue. :eek Guess I'll wait until I see him in person to decide.

 

Alt mold as everyone has already said is solid, and though I don't see any real problems with the bot mold it's quite obvious he's again been mistransformed and for the worse. Can't wait to have in hand to work out a proper fan transformation for him. I've already done that with every mold released. Official IMO just doesn't cut it for any of them.

 

Can't wait until July/August when both Prime, and Mirage hit Canada. With distribution finally shaping up in the last year and a half finding them shouldn't be a challeng after the first initial waves. :thumb

Heh.  I am just getting it to take pictures and do the first review on it.  Then I'm selling it.  I can't afford my proto fetish right now because I'm heading back to school at 32 to get more edumacation.

TFW2005 has even bigger pics. Up close, I can see that Mirage isnt painted like I was speculating to myself. He has the same treatment as Tracks. Car mode Robot Looking at the Box Art he crotch piece is transformed wrong.
