Picked up Skyblast the plane omnicon since I was in target to get a shower curtain. I must say for 6.99 I'm impressed has a nice plane mode that is very cowboy bebop for those who watch that show, and a decent robot mode that reminds me of the G1 depcitcon planes, his energon weopon is a little big for him, but it works on him as a plan. His head is exposed on the bottom side of the plane, but its nowhere near as bad as the ironhide I looked at, that was just....odd. Eitherway I only started watching energon a while back, am on the 5th episode, and so far its pretty cool, the characters are well written, I wouldn't hate that loser ironhide if he wern't. Any suggestions as to the nest one to pickup inbetween alternator issues?

Strongarm and Divebomb are two more really nice Basics.

 

Inferno, Starscream, and Rodimus are my favorite Deluxes, and if you're looking to spend a little more Megatron is well worth the price.

Divebomb is a must have... I like both modes a lot. Also energon snowcat's pretty cool too as well as rodimus.

 

And the universe Ramjet at Toys R us is the best TFs I've gotten lately.

Divebomb is great to go with Skyblast. An equaly great toy, and cheap. But Starscream is also great, and with such a great weapon, he is hard to say no to.

I wouldn't be asking me about what to get next, I'm the guy that's loved everything that Energon has had to offer so far (well, minus the non-show Armada repaints, and the upcoming fugly repaints...). :P

 

And I'm just about caught up on the Energon releases thus far in Canada. Just need Prime and Landmine, and Mirage and Demolishor whenever they show up in my neck of the woods. So yeah, I've been givin' out a lot of lovin' to this line, :redface. Me. The "non-collector", the "non-completist". What a joke :tflaugh.

Starscream and Divebomb. But if you're like me, you'll want to buy them all eventually

Some of my top picks for Energon:

Divebomb (great basic to go with Skyblast)

Strongarm (another fine basic)

Starscream (probably one of THE best Decepticons out right now)

Rodimus (good toy all around)

Prowl (somewhat freakish robot mode, but his vehicle and powerlinx modes are really good)

Im looking around for some next time I go to get something that might have them.

Divebomb- Just damn amazing, poseable, fun and displayable :thumb

Battle Ravage- Not quite as technically amazing as Divebomb, but he still rocks. Good homage, nice weapons, good looking in both modes :thumb

Starscream- Really poseable, great aesthetic appeal, good weapons, an ok jet mode an d a cool hyper mode

Optimus- He has good poseability, very fun, not that fat in r/l , high playability.

FIND A LANDMINE, you will not regret spending some extra cash on it. One of the best figures to come out of energon.

 

But if you are starting with the basics then get Divebomb, you will love this toy.
