Well, I need to make my point here.  Looks to me people are reacting so much as if the existence of BT and diecast would comparatively made Alt. 'inferior'.  As a BT collector it is a great news since there is a light of the line continuing.  I wonder how do people react if Alt. is the line being cancelled.  Let's not say the price difference.  Yes, BTs are more expensive but they were made of different materials.  Many people buy Galaxy Force products regardless of the fact that they only differ a little from the Cybertron toys and yet more expensive.  I don't see a lot of people complaining the GF toys are expensive. 

 

Alts and BTs have their own collection and play values.  If I have the money I wouldn't mind buying both lines.

Yeah, but that didn't stop the guys who did the chibi RID figures form makign the utlra creepy "Baby Ai batihng while Super Fire Convoy watches" diorama, now did it? Ai was a hologram that never showed any skin or whatever other than her face and maybe hands.

With there being no alternative, yes, I would buy BTs.  I'd still complain about the PVC figures though.  I don't care for a price increase that's justified by a stupid little PVC figure that I don't want.  I wouldn't care who the PVC figure is, either.

Why not? Every detail is molded in, and that shouldn't be an exception. I don't understand your logic of not molding just ONE thing into a figure just because it's "creepy". If a char is in a skirt or dress, only cheapasses wouldn't mold the panties in, just like EVERY OTHER detail. And detail is important in collector's items.

Name ONE 10yo looking anime character with "big cans and asses". Maybe to YOU they don't look their age, but to most others they do.

 

I'm not denying that there are some cases of exaggerated bodies on girls in anime, I'm just saying that it mostly isn't the case.

 

On topic-the fig with BT Prime DOES look pretty young tho...
