Has anybody noticed that all the planet leaders have antenna/horns of some sort like Prime himself

I think it was in an attempt to signify their status as planet leader and such.

Thats a good point and explaination. It makes sense :tflaugh ,but  sadly the reason is probably by accident that the leaders have that design.

I dont think they look alike at all. I will admit Override has Prime's round antena ear things and the forehead crest. Scourge looks extremely like BW Dinobot. Evac has the round ear things too but Metroplex is something totally different no Prime likeness to me at all.

 

The thing that is more noticable about them is the fact that there is one Planet leader in Every Price Class, except Scout and Supreme. But technically, Starscream comes with the Earth Planet key, making him a leader.

 

Primus' helmet does look like Cybertron Prime's helmet if you look real hard. His body reminds me of CD Scattorshot though.

I think the horns isn't where to look. I think it's the central crest. The elongated Hexagon has been the most distinguishing characteristic that is shared amongst all convoy's... Horns only became present recently.

 

That said, I thought the fact that all "convoys" looked similar was taken for granted. =P
