BM sucks!

Yes, it does!

No, it doesn't!

:inhevil It does make sence, you just have to be a lititary scholar(like myself)to figure it out.

BM WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE AIMED AT LITITARY SCHOLARS, DUMBASS!

Is that why you mispelt "literary" twice? :D

They showed all the Maximals get hit with the virus in the flashback and reverted back to their original forms. Rhinox and 'Bolt were captured almost as soon as they hit Cybertron. Also Rattrap finding out where Rhinox was probably stopped him from watching the rest of Big Rs memory.

Sometimes its okay to use your imagination. Not everything needs to be shown "on-screen"

Care for something slightly more eloquent? Beast Machines was a poor attempt to cash in on the success of the infinetely superior Beast Wars. While this in itself does not mean it is a poor show, it does colour one's opinion. However, Beast Machines, while superior to much out at the same time, was inferior in its writing to the preceding show. It made several attempts to rewrite transformer history, one major one was establishing a direct link bewtween Primal and Prime. The show essentially rewrote most of the characters, bringing about major character changes with little or no motivation. An excellent example of this was Megatron. His claim to winnthe Beast Wars aside, there was no motivation for him to develop this hatred of organics. Indeed, previously he came across as relishing the organic, predatiry side of him. Optimus' transformation into a figurehead had no grounding, nor did Cheetor's sudden rapid maturity, which while present in BW was accelerated beyond belief in BM. Rattrap's personality struck me as feeble at best, and in an episode where he protected an injured Megatron, surely Rattrap should have tried to kill Megatron as this is what he would have gladly done in BW.

Silverbolts chnage was the most plausible but was still shoddy. Waspinator's presence on the planet was never explained to any degree of satis faction. As for Rhinox, it was an idea which could have worked but failed miserably. the new characters of Noble and Nightscream were poorly handled. While the Savage/noble idea produced a fairly intiguing character, there was no rel explanation why a dragon, created from organic matter comtaining only reptilian dna would turn into a wolf. Asfor nightscrea, he was a shoddy attempt to keep the 'inexperienced youngster' for the group. The vehicon generals added little to the show, and with the exception of their part in Rhinox's and Silverbolt's plots coud have been done away with altogether. Therefore this show, while as I said not horrible, was a poor successor to BW, and is almost impossible for many fans to relate the two shows.

So like I said, Beas Machines is bollocks

Anything else? :redface  :redface

:D

uh yeah anyway there were a ton of flashbacks in the eighth episode of Season 1. We see all of the Maximals (except for Blackarachnia :schin) after they hit Cybertron. We also see Silverbolt getting zapped, and the same thing must have happened to Rhinox as well since we see him getting captured by the tank drones.

Of course he should have been in his beast mode, but I think some artistic license was in order seeing as it would have looked pretty funny to see this rhinoceros going :eek2

I always wondered what happened to Silverbolt... (and I guess the animators did too, since we never saw it :tflaugh) He wouldn't have devolved, so would he just have reverted to his bird dog mode? I dunno

I sooooo bet IDW will explain how Waspinator got back in the new Beast Wars comic

I was quite happy to leave it at ''Beast Machines is a load of bollocks'' you know

unlikely.  Right now, it's using only non-show characters set at the start of S3.
