a question about transformers and wal-mart.

Recommended Posts

people are always saying that wal-mart sells nothing but cheap plastic crap that is of poor quality. does this mean that tf's sold at wal-mart are of a lower quality than tf's sold at other stores?

I think you know better than that. They all come from the same place.

yes, that is what it means. because all the reissue/alternator, and whatever the hell eles new transformers are crap.

:tflaugh

Wal-Mart's own brand is usually crap, but even at that...everything you buy nowadays is made overseas in the same factories. Target, etc are just as guilty of selling CRAP.

People Starscream because Wal-Mart controls and owns the world. (At least that's where it's headed.)

Yeah, high-grade plastic, poseability, and superior paint and detail can't match up with 20-year old mothballs, can they?

aww, did i hurt your feelings? :clap

hmmm, plastic vs metal. i'll take metal.

hmmm, worthless vs valuable. i'll take valuable.

its all good tho, to each his own.

people say a lot of things...

people Starscream because Wal-mart is more successful than they are.

If you were really a hardcore G1 collector - you would only own Diaclones and Micro Change. G1 only fans are actually the biggest hypocrites of all.

Oh geebus. We should have just left your account in "validating" status. :bored There's no need to throw around your opinion as crap fact. Not everyone collects things just for the sake of them being valuable, btw.

This is a reeeaaall stupid topic.

As for me personally, I prefer to leave Wal*Mart for personal reasons.  Hence why I didn't apply there and why I did at Target and have an interview at Target next Wednesday.

But TFs are born in the bowels of Hasbro Inc in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.  And they try to keep things to a decent standard.  I mean, we're getting the Titanium, G1 Redux, Alts that are not originally made by Takara,  and a lot of other stuff that's not necesarily TFs.
