Wow...that's some cutting-edge logic there.

...nm this post.

Cause Megatron never felt like a G1 Megatron.

None of that last few Megatrons have felt like a G1 Megatron.

But they really liked Beast Wars, this is why if he where to ressemble G1 more and the whole story clearer, they would of liked it and that they hated it for the wrong or should I say right reasons inthe first place.

what part of Beast Wars was unclear?

Still to the naked eye, the whole story of it being before G1 is hard to understand to the normal new generation of fans, til the end of the series, this is the problem I think with the series.

When Megatron merged with G1 Megs spark there should of been more G1 results.

I don't know what the real problem with Beast Wars was really, its hard to see why the Japanese hate it and the US doesn't. maybe it was simply because of Optimus Primal? When you think its just about hype and all this and all that maybe? I don't tend to look at the series as something mature and unlimited, but just there as a whole or peice that should work always. Even to the people that don't want to get into the series and story, but should get that direct approch of where its coming from.

Do you mean it's hard to see what the problem is, or the series itself was hard to see? And "more of a G1 result" would be hard, considering a big purple dinosaur with a scope on his arm and a stock coming out of his butt wouldn't be too palpable.

I think it has to do with 2 main characters within the whole Beast Wars Universe when you get down right to it. Optimus Primal and Megatron. The begining not being so on top of G1 in a sense of not trying to hide anything to the fans. Maybe cause its a series that just started with no comic books to back it up with pre info to give off a better overall story?

I think the fact that they tied it into G1 after the fact helps. As far as I can remember, this wasn't supposed to be in G1 continuity, but after several unintentional references to it, fanboys across the nation seized onto that and were all "ZOMG it's teh G1 again" and the messageboards lit up. One thing I remember was one of the screenwriters was talking about Rhinox saying "May Primus help us" because they couldn't say God in childrens' TV. That was the straw that broke the INTERNET camel's back, and the floodgates opened.
