Like the look of the unpainted proto a whole lot better than the painted one we saw at toyfair.

 

Still not too crazy about him. Maybe if they paint him in a menacing colorscheme (for his second release) I might get him, bit I'm not too eager.

 

 

As for the altmode. I keep thinking it looks a bit like a beefed up, heavily armed version of the G1 cartoon Ark. (just a bit)

i like the toy and i look forward to purchasing him. i'm not going to use him as Unicron, tho. i'm going to army-build him into a squadron of Neo-Sweeps and Sideways will be their equivilent of Cyclonus. maybe Hasbro should consider giving the repaint G1 Scourge colors :schin
