I second that opinion entirely. If this comes out around the same type as Alt OP then I'll pick this black repaint up instead for just that exact 'kitbash' my Alt. Stunticons need their leader.

Actually, Decepticharge is the better of the two versions.

It may have the stupid decals, but the head, spoiler etc make him a  much better figure than Windcharger. He sells for a reason.

 

And this one will be the same.

It could be called Nemesis, Tranemisis or George, it's not going to matter.

It's black, it resembles Trailbreaker, it will sell by the bucketload.

So despite all the Starscreaming people did and still do about the decals, the color and the name, you think people are buying it b/c they like the figure? I think people are buying it to be completists and b/c it is fairly rare and hard to find. Like I said, I personally have never even seen a Decepticharge, but I am ok w/ that b/c I never wanted that figure anyway.

 

Granted, it might be that the black version of Prime, whatever his names ends up being will be highly popular, only time will tell.

Well seeing as the head is the perfect mixture of show and toy Windchargers (and looks real nice sat on Grimlock's body btw), the fact that the decals did actually come off, the fact in your own home Decepticharge can be called whatever you want it to be, the fact that it adds to the Stunticons without needing paint or major changes, and the aforementioned spiffier-than-Windcharger look, yes.

The figure PWNS, it's one of the best looking Alternators IMO. He should have been called Drag Strip though, it'd have been perfect.

Anyone else think this was a Walmart listing or something and got Tranemesis Prime confused with TRANSFORMERS NEMESIS PRIME?

I tihnk Hasbro has learned for mthe huge fan backlash about decepticharge not to name it TRANEMESIS PRIME.

 

this IS a fan's line ,after all. now for the mainline.... i could see them doign sometihng like that, but not a fanline after Decepticharge.
