Not to mention, Why the hell would they make a MP Thundercracker and Skywarp first? Takara is not crazy.

who says they'll do thundercraker and skywarp first. whats to stop them from makeing a cone head

This figure would represent a huge investment on Takara's part, I'm sure they would want to lead off with the most desirable figure possible.

Actually, such a thing isn't unheard of.

One of my other hobbies is collecting die-cast racing model cars.  There is a company called Exoto that's made a model of the Mercedes C9 that won LeMans in 1989.  The version that everybody wants is car #63, the actual race winner.  What have they released?  Cars #61, #62 and earlier versions of the car from 1987.

The reasoning is:  by releasing the less desired versions first, the company is maximizing (heh) the return on the molds - those that can't wait to have at least one version of the car will buy one (or more) of the earlier versions, and then also buy the #63 version when it's eventually released.

However, the fact that this toy contains a crown accessory means the point is moot - it's Starscream.

I'll make my final decision when I see final pics.  But if I get it, I'll probably feel compelled to get 20th prime, too.

this logic is logically logical

I get this, I'm just thinking that Takara is going to want a home run on this release. Like I said before, all the resources that would have gone into something like this are going to need a payoff, especially at this point.
