i still dont buy that entirely either. MP-Prime looks nothing like the show model.

he does look like the DW hybrid though.

 

I thought that MP- was just meant friggin awsome Robot modes with Articulation and such. With an effort for G1 accuarcy but not necessarily "all about"

I disagee. The MP line has been a mixture of both show accuracy and super-articulated bot modes.

 

It is, like BT/Alt originally was, a G1 homage line for collectors w/ a secondary market aimed at kids. These things are much too complicated and way too expensive for kids.

 

I really do doubt that for the price that the MP line will ever be anything but a G1 homage line, not at $100 a pop.

everyone still forgot the most important part of all, this is one step closer to a MP megatron, weather be tank or gun

I'd wish they Would make a MP G1 megs.  Even if they did, noone outside Japan would never see it.  NA has basically ramped up to prohibit the sale of "replica" firearms.  First it was realism, so toy makers made them look silly (usually by deco).. but now they are going after all toy guns. 

 

And since They are unliky to make a MP with purely local distro options.. It's likly why we've yet to see him.

 

I will be shocked if we ever see a true G1 megs produced in anything besides a Japan reissue of the original toy.

I'm okay with that.
