belive it or not i have conducted a drop test on fort max in his robot mode and the only think to break was his left foot and that was because it was extended[his foot extends for city mode and folds up for his robot mode]

Where did they drop Fort Max from? A 2 story building!!! I mean cmon....G1 toys were built to last and I doubt very seriously that he would break into shards from a fall off of a shelf or something. The only way I could think of is if he was dropped from a 2 story building or ran over with a truck.

I think he meant Hasbro's test. I don't know what the drop test conditions are but all my G1 Transformers stood the test of time (until my mom's house flooded with all my stuff in the basement and they got tossed at least).

Well I was just quoting information that was givin to me previously. Another poster on here Fortress Maximus actually, told me about the drop test and said that in the drop test had made the toy break into shards.

i still have my fort max if anyone wants a project.

he has no weapons/accesories

no head.

left foot is broken but can be reatached

stickers gone or have wear

elevator,trap doors,hidden compartments,green shoulder all still good

I cant have this. I like being one of the few to own him.

i agree the drop test shoul be challenged, and good to have you here oh mighty one(i bow before your greatness)
