Seriously. As stupid as the law is. If 1 kid gets shot becuase of any toy gun he/she is carrying (Megatron or not). That is one too many!

So true man...thats what a lot of fans dont stop to think about.

Everyone's crying over there never being a MP-Megatron, but I bet somewhere in Japan some Takara toy maker is hard at work perfecting (and playing with) the prototype as we type. It's like the ultimate challenge for toy makers to out do themselves'. Just wait to the end of this year or this summer and see if Im right. The toy makers are fans too. You can't have good without evil. :roll

I don't know why everyone expects a whole line of Masterpiece toys. Don't hold your breath, I say.

I have my Megatron and I am very happy with him :) It's too bad Hasbro couldn't reissue him, but I am happy with my haul at this point :)

Me too, I very happy with my reissue, I love the plastic bullets. There is no way that Hasbro will be able to release MP Megs here, if they do in Japan I'll get one. Otherwise I suggest just getting the reissue and let it go. If you really want to complain about U.S. toy laws what about Fort Max, they cant re-release him b/c of the drop test. 1. Drop toy out 3rd story window. 2. See if it breaks into long, sharp shards. If yes, then its a no go. If no, start production.
