how many of you guys have a G1 megatron reissue from takara that live in the United States? and how many of you Starscream about hasbro(or takara) not making a masterpiece megatron cause (in a whining voice) "it doesn't comform to U.S. toy laws" or (still in whining voice) "they could make a tank version of megatron" :grr a masterpiece SHOULD be a G1 toy, we all want a masterpiece G1 megs not a got- dammit G2 beast- Outback-neo wars megatron that turns into A FREAKIN TANK. we want the gun DAMMIT so if takara at least has the balls to make him then we could order them(what a concept!!) then where would you're precious little excuse get you then(inan even more whining voice ) "but the toy laws,the toy laws say..."SHUT THE HELL UP WITH YOUR DAMN TOY LAWS and MAKE A FREAKIN MASTERPIECE MEGS CAUSE WE'RE GONNA BUY THEM ANYWAY!!! if they're not gonna sell them here than we'll go elsewhere, simple as that. :grr :grr :grr

Dude, its freaking ILLEGAL for them to do it according to the law. Stop being so Outback over it.

 

Think about it. Hasbro is a BUSINESS. They're number one goal is to make money. A reissue/mp Megatron would make them a boatload of cash. And regardless of what you may think, they AREN'T that stupid not to make it if they could. If Hasbro was really as stupid and unorginal as you think then they wouldn't survive, let alone prosper in the business world and would have been bankrupt by now. With TF's among the big name brands, clearly they're doing SOMETHING right.

 

Oh and an MP Megatron as a gun is IMPOSSIBLE as MP Megatron would have to be in scale with Prime's robot mode. Know what that means? He would transform into into a bigass gun and that would destory the purpose of making a realistic MP Megatron.

My opinion is calm down. Laws are laws. It's not Hasbro's fault. Just import your Megatron and be happy that anyone rereleased him at all.

and i don't think anyone ever said there would be more MP. it was a 20thA. so even if they make more, you'll have to wait another 20 years or so.

Settle down. What would that figure(transforming) look like? There's more than just legallity at the heart of this.

I doubt they'll do that. They can sell any toy gun they want to if they mark it as an adult collectible, but would TRU, Wal-Mart, and other major retailers sell it? They have more control over what gets released than you think.

The only thing that we may get would be a war within megatron or the Tank Megs.

 

I would love a MP Megatron, no matter what his alternate mode is, but it is unlikely that they will make one.

 

I agree with Powermaster Jameson Actionmasters suck. I have all the primes released in america and japan, and I refuse to add the Actionmaster versions to the collection, they defeat the whole purpose of transformers.

But the law doesn't stop takara? They can still do it over there, and then hlj will help me out.

I'm not expecting any other Masterpieces, I was just thrilled that they actually made the Masterpiece Prime in the first place. Let's give them some credit for giving that to us.

 

As for old Megsy, I was able to easily find the Collection #6 Reissue Megatron at my local comic book store - which is more then enough to satisfy me. A mint and shiny reissue Megatron in my hands is way better then no Megatron at all!
