True. Humor often does not translate well.

Daniel being chased by Tantrum I think is typical of the humor used in Headmasters. Not really my taste.

But no matter what culture one is from, seeing Daniel get mauled by Snapdragon was fun.  :tfevil

But....does Rampage ever actually harm Daniel?

Nope.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

He would have if a train didn't crash into him

What's funnier is that an electric train, with no powerline or rails to run on, appears out of nowhere and rams a giant bison.

Daniel probably wet his pants while running away.  :tflaugh

BTW, was there anything in Beast Machines that made specific references to Rebirth, i.e. the "second golden age of Cybertron" that happened at the end of Rebirth?

Well, the Constructicons did make a short cameoappereance of 2-3 seconds. And of course Bumblebee in the last shot which was an animation error.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

riiiiiiiiiiiiight I forgot about the Constructicons

and Bumblebee >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Goldbug so I didn't mind the error ;)

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Me I like bumblebee's personality, but I like goldbug appearance better.

Holy crap, it's Pat Lee's Tantrum!

...Must reisist urge to post SP's lee comic...

whats the purpose of rebirth?there's no relationship between S4

i doubt only for sell toys!!

Well, duh.  :tflaugh

Of course the show was meant to sell toys. That is the whole point of the Transformers show.

The only shows that were more than a 25 minute ad for toys were Beast Wars and Beast Machines.  :tftongue

Watched Rebirth again and it is pretty good. Good action scenes with great music and plenty of good lines. And of course Daniel getting mauled.  :clap

The only downer was that it felt a bit rushed but seeing that I know why, I do not really mind that. It is the perfect ending to G1 seeing how the 2nd golden age had begun.
