Alternators Targetmaster Ricochet

Recommended Posts

Here is my Targetmaster partner . . . well partners for Ricochet.  I used some pretty random things for my second scratchbuild (on piece of plastic was just in the junk bucket 'o parts that I keep of just, well random parts  :tftongue ), but can anyone guess the other four [main] pieces used?  (well the piece for the post was a combo of random pieces from junked out model kits, but there is the main connector piece that is from a pretty recognizible object)  Anyways, enjoy and here are a couple of pics from the gallery itself:

No guesses to what you used, but you get praise!!

Sweet job!

THAT is a very big gun :eek

fricken sweet.  the pic of those leaning against him in car mode is, by far my fav.  its like they are saveing "you want to screw our car....thats cool is your funneral"

great idea

Well, two of the four parts (which appear to make up the body of the gun) are the Minicons that came with Armada Sideways.  The barrel looks vaguely familar, but I can't place it from that angle - and I have no idea what you used for the grip section.

barrel = seacon por rifle?

Hey guys, thanks for your comments!  Everyone's constructive critisim really means a lot to me!

Hehe, well I was a bit worried about it being possibly too big, but once I finished it, I was satisfied with the size of it.  It's a tad top heavy, but nothing ol' Ricochet can't handle.  With the influx of all of my Decepticon customs (I will soon have my Alt Seekers all ready to battle), the Autobots are going to need more than numbers (though having a gestalt TM partner helps there too  :tflaugh )

I'm not too fond of the actual process of shooting photos, but I absolutely LOVE posing my TFs and I love dioramas as well.  None of my TFs are standing at attention (unless that would be a particular TF's personality applicable to a pose) in my displays [for more TF goodness, check out my G1 collection in my Photobucket account!].

When I was taking photos, I really started having fun with that idea you mentioned and I just started posing them around Ricochet in Alt mode.  When I started to "play" with Nightstick in gestalt mode, I really started to get the sense that he's a bot you just don't want to mess with.  I hadn't really got to do much reflection on my work after I finished him; I just finshed him and immediately started taking pics.  :P

Well, the Minicons have been identified; good eyes trench.  That's two of the four pieces for the gun.  Any guesses as to the other two pieces?

Very cool. And yes that's one B.F.G.  :thumb

Nope, it's not a Seacon rifle (I actually need one of those for my G1 Piranaking  :tftongue).

I got to looking back at my original images, and I concluded that my pics did not have enough detail in them to give you guys much to work with.  In light of my folly, I decided to have some fun with all of this  :tfevil

The Minicons were identified previously.  The attachments to the TM gun were scratchbuilt/kitbashed by myself.  I keep a bucket of junk parts (broken electronics' guts, junked out toys from random toy lines, etc.).  The gun barrel is a used mechanical pencil and the connector piece for the gun post is one of those earpiece things that fits on a eyeglasses strap.  The connector of the gun barrel and the bottom shaft of the rear connector are just random junked pieces of plastic.  The gun post is actually two pieces from a Star Wars model kit.  I just used some putty and superglued things together, then painted it all black. :tfgrin
