Generations: Optimus Prime

Lio Convoy is goofy looking....and I'm not picking on your paint job...the toy itself is goofy looking. Never got into that toy line.

Nice job on the others.

The Lio Convoy is the KO one from BIG Lots isn`t it? I`ve got the same one and I`m thinking of doing the same thing. Did you leave the head immobile or did you fix it so that he can move his head? All of the repaints are magnificent.

nice :thumb  the only one I'm not feeling is RID prime. He just looks a little on the plain side for my tastes.

I think the laser and armada ones are the best

why yes it is

which one, regular or super mode? cause regular mode is my favorite of all of them. imo, the legs look so much better this way then the other.

I'm all for G1 Optimus, but I like to respect each Prime's indiviuality.  Most of the Primes after RiD were painted in G1 color schemes, with blue lower legs, a red upper body, a silver belly, a blue head with antenna.  The only true exceptions were the BW Optimus toys (save for the blue lower legs on Optimal Optimus).

But yeah, I'm just not feeling any love for the RiD Prime in those colors.  Something just seems a little off.

But otherwise an outstanding job.

Little idea though, stick with the vehicle Primes.  Something about a beast Optimus in G1 colors seems kinda wierd...though the original Lio Convoy was in semi G1 colors in robot mode.

super mode. It just looks kinda plain that and the supermode head looks off somehow

I do like your energon one a lot...does anyone think if he looked like that to begin with he would have been more popular? lol

It's not just that, it's that the red and black contrast much better than the real colors do, so that in that photo Prime's waist is much slimmer looking.
