Is this legit??

Perhaps it's just the light, but in the last picture, the paint looks very 'thick' like it was handpainted??

What do you reckon??

i heard the diaclone version of streaker was blue... like the box art was for g1 bluestreak.

You heard right.

What makes me skeptical is that in the last picture, the paint seems to be applied somewhat thickly.

I've had a few a Diaclones in my time, and none of them ever had that sort of consistency to the painted metal surfaces.

I'm wondering if there was some 'conversion' done....

i meant to say in the first post, link doesnt work...

hmmm...

it certainly doesnt inspire confidence. imo its fake. but it does look nice. to bad tfu.info doesnt have diaclone pics.

Why does it come with a reiusse box, if its real?

The box was borrowed from an ehobby release.  I am more skeptical about the character card inside the box (seen on the right side of the window).  That is obviously a custom job with pretty good skill.  That makes me wonder if the rest of the TF is also a really good custom job.

actually the card is from a set of cards released during the g1 series. i had alot of them when i was younger. they have all the characters box art, and then a bunch of screencaps. neat cards.

To be (a little more) candid, if the seller is who i think it is.......

there is a very good chance that the auction is not on the up and up....
