Ricochet & Rollbar both have State License Plates

 

Ricochet from Jersey

Rollbar from Colorado...

 

Any idea if they are going to continue to do this?

 

Mirage doesn't seem to have a License Plate nor does Prime...

 

Or perhaps my Rico & Roll are just Variants and the completist has to collect 50 different versions of each figure...wouldn't that suck...

 

None of the other Alts have State plates...(not that i saw)

Personally I don't care, I think it might just be something they do with these "second repaints" to try to make them seem less stale.

Reprolabels makes some...maybe Hasbro picked up on the idea?

Yeah probably what is going to happen... Swerve was first third repaint...but was also remolded so maybe rule will be third repaint with no remolds...

 

I am going to assume that the Number of Alts predicted from Botcon

4 new

6 remolds?

1 Swerve (third Deco) - last year)

NO clue what else this year?

New alts aren't due for a little while...

 

We still need our 2nd Deco of Prowl, & Skids

And if they are doing three each then that also leaves Meister, Grimlock, Windcharger

All of which we great molds...

sure beats the corrupt Washington State Plates (for technology that is)

I'm guessing that Prowl and Swerve don't count in the 4/6 number since they were both released prior to Botcon (some may argue Skids and Sunstreaker since they were released in '05 - but I have the feeling that Skids probably counts).

Same here. I was half considering modding my Riccochet with decept symbols and finishing with a plate front and back that said 'WLD-RIDR' or some such.

I just wish they had either thought of this idea sooner or not done it at all. It would have been cool if they had ALL had state license plates, but since the older ones don't have them, it ends up being kind of dumb, imo.

I agree, it seems completely unnecessary at this point.
