Downshift is indeed a kick ass figure!  I just got him yesterday.  I think he's equally as good as armorhide and CD Hotshot (my two favorites of the line)

Just got Downshift today.  Great fig, I really like him.

 

One thing: when I flip down his roof for 'bot mode, his claw thing automatically pops out, without a Force Chip inserted.  I really doubt it's supposed to be like this, so is it happening on anyone else's Downshift?  (No big deal in correcting this, though. Just gotta shave down some plastic a bit...)

I got my Downshift a week-and-a-half ago. I most enjoy his vehicle-mode. It's not often you find an american sled like that in a TF-line. I also like how the top of the car actually kind of looks leathery. Very good and detailed work here, I can tell you that.

 

The only problem I found was the fact that his head doesn't turn, but just tilts a bit in a few directions. But that was simply fixed.
