Maybe I was unclear on what you were saying. My understanding is that the protoforms acted as spark containers / raw materials for a shell, and the data tracks were stored in the stasis pod, to be stuck back into the shell once it had been created. But Silverbolt's (and Quickstrike's) stasis pods were damaged in the quantum surge, and their data tracks were lost. So I guess my point is that Silverbolt *had* memories of Cybertron (in his stasis pod), but they were all lost when his pod got screwed up.

Umm... as I recall, with the sole exception of Protoform X, there is no evidence in the entire show that any of the Protoforms have any prior memories to being activated on Earth. Thus effectively, I see Protoforms as being "new-borns".

erm not to narc on anyones opinions or anything but after some QUICK glances at these discussions i gotta ask. does it really matter? if a character is a newborn or not does that truely effect your enjoyment of the show ?

i just gotta ask cause it confuses the hell outa me. maybe im not as big a fan as some but as long as an episode or toy or comic is off good quality and i enjoy it i dont really think much off it

I think the previous discussion might have been better than the new comic so far.

 

I may be alone on this, but I got confused while reading it.  I've never been into to comics, but I loved BW & bought BM too.  Rodimus_Prime_80 brought home the comic & I read it.  I had no clue who Magatron was, or what these other characters where doing on what looked to be earth.  I go more confused than having questions answered.  But I'm thinking that I will have some questions answered if I read more.

No its taking place on earth at the same time as BW, apparently all the new transformers have put them selves out of faze or spmething. Also a very large number starred in either BW2 or BW Neo-Magamatron, Lio and Big Convoy, Razorbeast, B'Boom,Bonecrusher etc

 

Also about the alt modes, Razorbeast was a bike and Magmatron didn't have a beast mode on cybertron. As for Lio and Big, they acquired their forms on Cybertron(although in the anime Lio convoy got the lion mode on another planet)

Ok, I think I'm getting it.  Megs in on Earth.  Magmatron is on Cybertron.  If so, is the Earth-looking planet acctually a part of the organic Cybertron, or am I just toally lost?
