that's pretty nice looking, but this better be the final Alt with that transformation scheme.

It looks fan made to me.

It might seem fanmade, but I don't believe that it is. I think it's just because of the plastic windows and the fact that this is a VERY early prototype/testshot.

But the head, and car detail look too good to be fanmade. Also, the robot mode seems to have the same shape as the silouhette(sp?) from the Mazda webpage. Besides, with the proposed release date, a proto should have been surfacing about know.

Could be MUCH worse! But I see your point. More imagination is good...

Hmm... that plastic seems to be of the same texture and coloration as build-kits of model-cars. Seems very awkward to me. Actually, I hope its not the actual prototype. Another with the"Prowl"-transformation would be just wrong.

I might be one of the few that actually prefered the new Tracks-model, because it's so radically different from its G1 counterpart. I mean, it's 2004. Should the toys be updated then as well?

What is the timing for the new Alternators releases? It seems like there are at least 5 new alternators set for release before the end of the summer. Smokescreen and Sideswipe seemed to have more lag time between new releases...

Like I said on the other topic, it looks like a fan kit-bash to me.

I'm a kitbasher.

1. its not

2. if it were, I'd know about it.

3. its NOT.

I can tell a kitbash from a real product, and that toy doesn't have any pre-existing parts...
